Porsche and Smeg bring motorsport heritage into the kitchen, pairing iconic design with everyday rituals, precision engineering, and collectible details
In a bold celebration of heritage, innovation, and design excellence, Porsche and Smeg come together to redefine the intersection of automotive prestige and modern living. It’s a collaboration shaped by performance and craftsmanship – timeless style, translated into the rituals of home.
At the heart of the partnership is a shared pursuit of innovation: the thrill of the racetrack, softened by the sophistication of Italian design. The result is a collection of appliances that speaks to design lovers and collectors alike – objects that feel as considered as they are functional, and as emotionally resonant as they are precise.
Anchoring the collection is the 917 Salzburg Limited Edition, a tribute to Porsche’s first overall victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1970 – a defining moment in motorsport history. Dressed in vivid Salzburg Red, the statement fridge and matching bean-to-cup coffee machine echo the iconic 917 KH livery, celebrating an enduring legacy of speed, precision, and design. Each piece is limited to 1,970 numbered units, turning everyday function into a collectible design moment.

The collaboration continues with two refined design editions in Carrara White Metallic and Shade Green Metallic, inspired by Porsche’s signature finishes. These hues bring a sculptural elegance that highlights the collection’s balance between form and function – where beauty lives in both purpose and precision. Across the range, subtle Porsche cues – striping, matte black accents, clean lines – add a performance edge without losing Smeg’s unmistakable silhouette.
What makes the collection compelling isn’t only the heritage behind it, but the way it lands in real life: the quiet hum of a fridge in an open-plan kitchen; the first coffee of the morning, delivered with buttoned-up ease. It’s functional luxury with an editorial point of view – designed to be lived with, and designed to be noticed.
