The Mezcal International Tequila Festival will take place in November 2019 and is scheduled to run over three days. With over 30 tequila brands showcasing at the event, attendees are spoilt for choice along with the International Tequila Expo available at the event where some of the premier brands in tequila will be available. Visitors can savour a tasting of tequila from an array of brands, including Olmeca, Don Julio, Altos, Ponchos and more.

Held at Hamiltons Rugby Stadium in Green Point, the festival will take place from 1 - 3 November 2019. The event is restricted to over 18s only and attendees will not be permitted to bring in their own alcohol or food into the arena.

As it is the first international tequila festival in South Africa, you will be treated to an array of food options, live performances and masterclasses. The event is aiming to host over 10 local bands where you can dance under the summer sun after you have had a few refreshing margaritas. Those wanting to hone their talent in cocktail making can take part in the tequila masterclasses on offer during the festival.

Other activities include a mini masterchef, Mexican foods (yes... this includes drool-worthy Nachos, Quessadilas and more) and of course a mechanical bull.
